I agree, not sure what all those staff are being paid to do, but they’re being paid a lot. I’d like to see the company start to leverage their 3 million active monthly users into complementary platforms to mitigate some of the churn that happens as children grow older. Red trike was a good acquisition in this regard, but in house development of something would be better. Tinybeans Pets is the type of thing I’m thinking of - it uses the existing infrastructure and users, but opens a new world of potential advertising streams. The existing users cost a lot to acquire & need to be monetized in a way that isn’t intrusive to their experience, so retention rates are maintained or improved. There are lots of opportunities to leverage their brand and users beyond the simple subscriptions/advertising model currently in place.
