there has been an great deal of press speculation on felix as we all know. I get the feeling that there is a compelling story for this bid to happen and soon imo. The numbers seem to make sense and the coal price spot is moving upwards again. The potential buyers of companies like this have a window of time to purchase. The market wont remain dead for ever regardless of the crapola we read in the daily press. If this bid succeeds, we might get a little miffed when we look back at these prices. Its almost as if the market simple does not believe the bid is real. The downside might be $2-$3, the upside is $7-$8. The Chinese firms do spend some time doing Due Dil, so i am not spooked if it does not happen tomorrow. The longer term potential price gains are also still here if the bid does not happen. good luck to the longs and lets hope they make a bid. time will tell the story. dyor.
