From working in IT consulting, Splunk is a multi billion dollar company which has its hands in most corporate office envrionments already with professional services for IT analytics. It wont be hard to transfer their skills over to providing IT services and analytics to hospitals, in fact i know of them currently bidding for some NSW E-health intiatives. Just balancing out all the positive here. ALC is great i dont doubt it, but there are big companies out there who already have the capacity to take on big projects as well competing with ALC.

Lets hope ALC will stick first!
