It looks like someone is simply selling out of CSL and not a short target if the asx site is to believed. Been monitoring the Gross Short Sales list for the last few days during the high volume days and shorts account for <2% of the daily turnover.
e.g. 12/12 4,735,893 shares traded of which 90,502 or 1.91% of days trades were covered shorts.
