re: partner has debt problems with galoc could pick up the whole asset, galoc, on the cheep soon then if the operator is trading insolvent.
Those of you that think Galoc taps have been turned down to conserve oil are now shown as extremely stupid or gooses. Why would the operator turn the taps down when that could make it go insolvent. Galoc is producing at maximum, just at a declining rate. The field is small so a high production rate over the long term is unsustainable. My guess at the end of next yr is 8,000 bod, which is still great.
