Personally I believe APT ZIP and in fact most if not all 'western' BNPL, have very little chance of expanding into Asia. WeChat has a strong hold with over 400million users that pay with the app. Wont be difficult to introduce a BNPL platform to existing customers. Add to this the current tensions (which will go on for years) I think any potential $$ growth or return should not a include China / Asia.
