I guess you are right wrt the other permits, they are our future free bs.
Looks to me though that Thai politics are going to be quite messy going forward. Luckily they have an all weather fiscal regime for oil, which I very much doubt Thai pragmatism would want to touch.
Well I am counting CVN as one of the certain survivors on the asx. Not a lot deserve to, and a few that deserve to wont. Ted is going to have some superb expansion opportunities going forward, and the vital free cashflow to get any acquired onshore project onto it's legs.
Looking elsewhere only the Tui trio have made and kept cash from the recent boom, in any substantial way. OEL getting Galoc oil, yet no cashflow, BMG & Puffin still blackholes. ROC treading water, PSA mc 1/10 it's debt,TAP still bleeding WB profits, COE & STU losing heaps on high risk exploration. CVN is a rarity.
