Although it has been used as a useful tool to rally support, I consider it is an unfair branding of the sexes; the males ubiquitously tarnished and the females ubiquitously defined as a misandrist mob motivated by a phantom misogyny. Apart from obvious anonymous bravado and baiting on net forums and newsgroups, I could honestly say I have only met less than a handful of women hating men.
i must have misunderstood you - i apologise. I do agree - and like most things in life feminists can be found on a continuum. some people are labelled feminists but do not follow the extreme feminist principles.
