Imagining scenarios whereby RIO might compare operations in OZ & Namibia and considering comparative labour costs as significant is not helpful,,,,,,,,, unless it is part of a more thorough comparison including,,,,, off the top of my head,,,,,,, country royalties,,, sovereign risk (viz OZ attitude to U mining),,,,,, relative costs/access to power/infrastructure.......
So yes... we are agreed that RIO is a player in EXT and we can reasonably expect it to be part of development of Rossing South (at least) But it is idle speculation getting carried away trying to second guess their bigger picture scenarios,,,,, unless you've got someone inside RIO,,, and at the very top,, the whole company just turned on a dime several times in the last few months so any scenarios appear to be pretty fluid. Their relative dominance of other players and EXT's pounds in the ground will only grow ....... my point is they're already at the table having bought in to the game and as by far the only whale playing at the table they could easily bluff the whole pot (and EXT drill results will continue to grow that pot) but let's just buy more shares as there is enough incentive just by RIO's presence.
Thanks to all the EXTremely useful KAH posts,,, now that's good info..... to know .... just wish they had a smaller stake..... like less than RIO's
KAH will be a proxy ?? trump competetive bidder on anyone (areva, russians, chinese etc etc) who takes on RIO,,,,,, surely RIO will just buy out KAH as these guys have spun themselves complicated webs that in which the current climate has ensnared themselves. They gotta be sellers with RIO just waiting for comfirmation of infill drills before they pounce. The only thing seems that the longer RIO waits the bigger grows the power of KAH over EXT and thus the worse it is for EXT holders. (KAH is a parasite on EXT by every measure.... not meant as an insult)
