what are the chances a truly national broadband network is built without telstra being involved?...zero, imo...all the other bidders are only interested in serving major metropolitan areas...none of them have anywhere near the funds needed w/o entering international debt markets...what are the chances they can find it there?..telstra is highly regulated..a true monopoly isn't...yes, they can improve their customer service but all providers here rate about the same on that level
