I called up commsec today and found out.
You need to contact the Australian Share Registry on 1300 288 664 and notify them you would like to redeem your options. They then invoice you (6c per option) and you have to pay via BPay. Then it takes 1-3 business days and you will notice they have changed to fully paid ordinary shares in your brokerage account.
