I was considering it as an exercise. I would assume they would simply pay up to be eligible.
What is the likely chance that someone would go to those lengths to use FAR as a vehicle to pre-empt considering the last attempt? Low IMO.
As a theoretical exercise you could assume that if FAR pays off their dues then they could PE assuming someone else wanted the asset. Would probably make more sense going through WPL as they could get a bigger percentage but FAR could still PE a minimum of 10% assuming others wanted in also. This would make FAR a holding of around 25%.
Unlikely to happen though. Russian appear to think it unlikely also.
