Thurlow, I can understand why costic, or anyone with the remote sense of fairness would not respond to an article like this -and it's only one of possibly hundreds which a hate-filled idiot like D. Pipes would write. Like all his other extrications, this too, is an insult to one's intelligence and to one's "sensibilities" (as you say in your next post!). Modern sensibilities can read through garbage like this, whether written by Pipes or his alter ego Harris:

We restrain ourselves according to the standards of civilized conduct as refined over the centuries; they engage in maximal ruthlessness."
1) No use growling about what means one is using to throw an invader out of his land! (But this is issue has been discussed often I don't wish to get back into it again) 2) If we are to growl, then we ought to look at what we're growling about! Tanks, bulldosers, helicopters, WMDs in surfeit, Disgusting, inhumane interrogation means, non judicial killings, random killings of innocent, carving of someone else's land to suit your own purposes... against a very poor people (we've discussed this issue often enough also!) whose weaponry is anything but a match to the disgusting panoply of their opponents, who fight as if they are involved in an arcade game!
The only people going to bed with the americans are the Israelis! Now does this not tell you something?
