It's interesting to see the way these things work.

The activity this morning has been short-term traders and maybe a handful of others who have had their eye on the stock waiting for some stability.

What we need to give CER the longer term lift is the interest of value investors, instos and funds. These players are faced with many other opportunities at the moment.

Information takes time to filter through the analysts and investment managers, most of whom have a process to follow before making large investments in a company. They don't just rush in with their precious capital.

In the next few days, we will see the analysts who cover the stock come out with their revised opinions. We'll also see further media coverage and some consensus start to build on the stock. We'll also see some of the ratings agencies give their opinion on the situation and in time, revise their credit rating for CER. We may even see the odd investment publication or magazine recommend the stock to retail buyers in their next edition.

All of these activities will start to put CER back on the radar for people, which in turn will encourage them to research further and come to the conclusion (hopefully) that it is a buy.

CER has become a classic value play for anyone who is prepared to do the research. I probably wouldn't worry about the day to day gyrations in the interim.
