Mcdonalds has 145 products, mcvegan to triple qtr pounder, salads to mcnuggets imo these are very different markets. Coming from a background in product development and distribution. Large retailers are more inclined to take on brand with a broad selection & initially offering them more shelf space. Products can be added or removed as the market sees fit. A broad selection also shows a solid R&D department.
