Perhaps we can clear up some of the misinformation on here:
New investors can't get the shortfall.
You must have participated in the SPP to receive any shortfall.
Go and read 1.2b of the prospectus.
They can't just allocate them to "mates" as its part of the corporations act!
Lastly, there is no point complaining about how small your allocation is, you had a perfect opportunity to lift your holding prior to the entitlement date.
Noone would expect a huge windfall from the shortfall, if you have such a small allocation or had such a small holding.
