You can, If I were you, I would buy the SPP @ $5.30 and then sell your current shares (don't need to sell all but it's up to you and depending on how much you want to diverse your profile).
The risk you take is depending on how many shares will get allocated to each shareholder because it will most likely be oversubscribed (I may be wrong). But I think it's worth getting on SPP considering I don't think and HOPE it doesn't go below $5.3 by 14th of August.
