Your 100% correct, but the outcomes of what you have just mentioned regarding the farm ins etc would come under fundimental analysis not technical analysis, charting is not 100% correct (otherwise we would all master it and have endless riches) but what it is trying to indicate is the mindset of the market and if the price is likely to keep going up or down depending on the indicators (and there are heaps). I studied a diploma in trading and totally enjoyed it, do I use the lessons learned all the time, wellI bought some more today which goes against everything I posted above but as the instructor said, if you trade with out rules then your just gambling..... but where is the fun in that hahaha Like I mentioned before, the trading rules above are usually for blue chips on the weekely chart, I was just throwing it out there as its a charting thread and like to learn more from others.
