With the release dates of annual reports rapidly approaching,
and possible announcement of divs, it's worth considering whether
the various goldies had franking credits on divs in the past.
I found some data in a recent stock analyst's newsletter,
listed below for some of the mid-cap Au producers on ASX
with MC's between $1-2b. This data may be slightly out of date,
so please DYOR.
Note that RMS is one of the few that had 100% franked divs
(but not a guarantee that the next divs will be 100% franked of course !)
Miner....Market Cap ($b)....%Franking
OGC........2.36...........0
SLR.........2.28...........0
PRU.........1.78..........0
RMS......1.79.......100
GOR.........1.72...........0
RSG.........1.54...........0
WGX.........1.04...........0
SFR..........1.01.........100
Another dot point to add to the long list of reasons
why RMS is looking like a winner, IMO.
All IMHO, DYOR
