Shorts now stuck at 3.68% of total shares on issue ie 57m of 1.56bn shares. Not much change for around 2-3 weeks. So it may look as though shorters are a bit gun shy in adding new positions. Now they have to buy them back which should be interesting as there is plenty of cash in the bank to last another year or so and with funding cost at 8%? they may be hurting a bit. 57m shares looks like around 3 weeks of trade volumes. Unless POO takes another dive they may have to look at current levels to buy back. Intrinsic value of Dorado should provide a floor on SP and other great potentials (Buffalo, Apus, ROC etc) will underwrite upside once POO gets a wriggle on.
With all the buy recommendations with targets north of 30c I love the smell of napalm in the morning.
