I put a lot of faith in the fact that the directors had to pony up a substantial amount of cash to exercise their options - cash that might otherwise be hard to come by in this environment.
'performance rights' with a very low hurdle and no financial commitement are way less encouraging to say the least.
Why not just extend the existing options date out another 18 months? I would be quite happy with that.
