Because of the badly handled bad debt estimates, it has become oversensitive. Any honest banker who makes a bad debt provision now should increase it by a fat percentage further.
Thus any raising is only attractive for that moment until more bad debts surface.
They knew it was better to raise these funds now than wait 6 months.
Obviously a better entry point for punters now, but why rush in? Wait till more bad debts play out.
