The really alarming thing is people who try to downplay the recent drought and bushfires for ideological reasons.
The drought caused so much suffering in my own community. So many people were forced off generational farms and moved to the bigger centres of Dubbo or Parkes for good. Makes me furious to see city-based political warriors try to pretend it was no big deal for their sick agendas. That it was worse than previous droughts is a fact.
