There is a takeaway shop near my work where I often go for lunch.
Their EFTPOS machine is the slowest I've ever experienced. It takes at least 5 full seconds to process card payments (stop and count to 5 to see how long that is). The employee and I are both left staring at the machine.
Strangely, to 'resolve' this issue (which is an actual problem during peak hour lunch time), they got a second eftpos machine.
They could have just moved over to Tyro it seems.
