what makes you think merchants will pass on the cost to consumers?
it's common knowledge that consumers go to apt platform first then decide from there where to spend their hard earned cash.
think this through...if apt are driving increased sales then merchants are not likely going to bite the hand that feeds them.
if they do decide to surcharge, then merchants should expect referral fees to kick.
