Also could I add that during the GFC I knew of a couple of people who used leverage in buying shares. Way too much
leverage was offered and many took up the offer.
Shares went down in the elevator and they chose to sell a rental property at the worst time and in a decent area.
No one wants to hear the negative even though you say this could end in tears.
We are in a once in a century pandemic and China can hurt us where it hurts most - the hip pocket nerve.
If you own your own home as I do, being older, I regard it as a roof over my head and a security and peace of mind irrespective
of the price some agent may put on it. I cannot put a price on my peace of mind and feeling it gives me and if I were to buy
and sell in the same market I would sell low but also buy low.
All just opinions. Stay safe and be sensible. And I am probably one of the most negative Nellies who posts on HC I think.
