I see that Alan Kohler on businessspectator.com.au is backing Acacia to win the NBN contract. Could the plot be (particularly since the Acacia "COE" is ex Telstra) be that as Acacia is only a consortium of interested parties that Telstra could do a deal with Acacia on a similar basis to their deal with Foxtel on the HFC network. I am only speculating.
