If you take a look at the first wave, the share valuation actually rose as cases rose - which I do find bizarre.
I think with the travel sector it's already bottomed out. Even if we have 10,000 new cases or 100 cases it's still at a freeze. The current valuation of shares is that travel won't return for the next 12 - 18 months so any lockdowns are just part of that parcel. It may however spook people into selling, however most of those who were likely to get spooked have sold a ways back. I think the most of us here that are any dips just see them as buying opportunities. I know with my experience the moment I sell some, good news out of the blue will pop up and the price will bounce back up. it's happened enough times now that I just hold what I have and buy more when it's low. I've also now seen some other travel agents shacking up with some airlines so that also makes me feel as though there could be likewise deals with Webjet in the works.
