No doubt. Clearly religion, religiosity is hardwired and every time there is a major schism religions rebuild. The JWs you mention have had a couple of major breakups, but under Rutherford they were tutored in how to aggresively market their belief. They got a new brand name, the Jehovah Witness, a misson statement declaring them to be the only true religion, they would rule in heaven, be the only people with eternal life and accurate knowledge of the Bible. As for the God hypothesis being weak, I'm not sure weak or strong are terms that can be used when no possible empirical evidence can ever be presented. It's a belief that needs to be tempered by what we know of reality. Regardless it is all pervasive for whatever reason and appears in the earliest evidence of our existence. If it's not real then we should make it the best kind of real because the theists have totally ruined it.
