In order to be a good long term investment they need to survive the short term...
What is going to potentially kill FMG is a lower iron ore price and the high production costs they currently have. They have been pulling out all the stops to try and make their targets and have burnt a lot of cash in the process. I get the impression that a lot of money is being written off against construction activities in order to paint a better picture when in reality it is being spent on production. Time will tell.
