Yep i think that if share collectors can afford to hold long term (## years) we can ignore the share price column until we absolutely need to sell for a compelling reason. That's the only time it really matters. Although I know that it gives a good feeling to visibly see profit figure rise in the profit/loss column day to day, and these days everyone is stock watching more than ever with more time on their hands I imagine. Some days yuk feeling some days hoorah!
