That's a sad but classic example of the impact of Covid.
Even though we have relatively low infection rates in Victoria, the things you have mentioned demonstrates the impact of Covid. Aged care overwhelmed. Nurses having to be transferred to age care away from hospitals. Those hospitals are now under pressure.
All those health workers are under severe pressure and many of them have been infected.
And, as you mentioned, there's the other health issues in the community that people are putting on hold.
And this is with Covid under control. Can you imagine how bad it is where Covid is rampant ?
For all those idiots that want to let it run rife through the community, have a think about that.
Just watching the Vic police chief on ABC 24 relating some issues the police have experienced recently with people not doing the right thing. I fully support the harder rules that the government are bringing in.
