Without detailed updates and progress reports it's near impossible to assess accurately what's happening with midkine. Perhaps we're better off in the dark? Instead of endless cycles of hope followed despair, with the share price surging then crashing, we just wallow in despair.

However, rather than assessing management is incompetent and the board is asleep, I'm beginning to question whether in fact anyone wants midkine? Clearly Pacific Edge is making something of it but I can't believe that other partnering companies haven't had ample chance to do their own assessments of its value to them. So perhaps it's just useless, too hard, or too expensive for them.

It's past time for the company to come clean with shareholders regarding midkine and if that's not possible I would support a move for change.
