Paul Keating's attitude works on the assumption that everything will go back to normal. I had been watching my super for years, and I don't really think it was invested that well I think we are in unusual times and the government needs money. We don't really know if war will break out and the Government might use our super to fight an upcoming war. Let them use their super and pay down their debts because if a BOQ or AMP collapse, banks may start calling on loans to be repayed.
