I cannot help feeling that your obsession with the admiral is because he was Muslim and this proves some sort of emotional link you have with China.
however a glance at these articles will suggest that the Chinese don’t have quite the same affection for him.
in the end however all your grandstanding about China and its great sailing past (in which by the way you made an absurd link with the conquests of the Mongols who had also of course managed to conquer northern China ) are vaguely irrelevant. The question really is
