BP havent got much of a choice after the series of mishaps they have had to deal reputationally and costing billions especially from the days of Deepwater Horizon they need to restore their reputation and the only way is to start selling their new found love. But with the appropriate disclaimers in place theres only so long before investors starts demanding for bottom line performance as in profits/dividend not only revenue growth and not just set massive targets of generation capacity expansion. Its a great vision which sells today and captures the appreciation on the share price immediately. Hence a win-win for everyone
