Actually the sophs missed out big time. $10m bids vs $3.6m allocated (see below extract from news article). Potentially $6.4m of investors money, or 91m shares at 7c missed out. If they still want to invest they'll have to buy on market. Perhaps they were hoping no retailers would take up the SPP and the board could use their discretion to allocate any shortfall to them.
Anyway I suspected and I'm glad the SPP closed early. I held/hold more than $30k of shares and went for the max $30k allocation. I would like the whole lot but the silver lining in the event of receiving less is that demand for shares on market by retailers is increased, in addition to the demand by sophs.
