i think your use of the word phenotype is a little bit of a stretch really - is it really the point you are trying to make? in terms of observable characteristics - i thought he was a pretty good looking bloke, nicely proportioned, polite, masterful, made a reasonable fist of following the doggerel issuing from Trump and at least asked intelligent questions and was well prepared to the extent one can be with a person with a shot gun as their mouth. oh and he didn't throw in gobbledygook or jago so that he looked intelligent - he just acted that way.
