It's 6.00 am over here. A low pressure system has come down from the islands and it's raining like there's no tomorrow, a steady tropical rain, no wind, just coming straight down, flat calm sea and the birds waking up in the trees. Kind of nice really. Very peaceful. Which is a good way to be with another year under the belt and a new one looming.

Hard to believe after all the robust debate we've had in the months gone by that we've just gone two days without a single post. Guess there wouldn't be one of us who wouldn't wish for a crystal ball under the Christmas tree. Had a word with the Sage of the North Pole a few days ago. He doesn't do crystal balls, for obvious reasons. Says it would take all the fun out of it if we knew what was going to happen. Says do your own research and trust yourself. Also said the signs are all there if you know what you're looking for and where you're going. Seemed like good advice to me. He had a twinkle in his eye which seemed to suggest he knew more than he was letting on.

Anyway, this was just to say Merry Christmas to all my Unilife friends on HotCopper. Hope you all have a great holiday. Enjoy the season and the moment. Stay safe. Love your kids and each other. And to all of us, a happy healthy wealthy New Year.
