IGO frequently uses the terminology "belt-scale exploration or "belt-scale project". What does that mean?
I am on a nickel kick now, so I have started looking at nickel miners, and this term pops up occasionally, but frequently in respect to IGO. It is difficult to Google because there are scales built into some conveyor systems, so one gets information about weighing systems, and that does not fit the context I have seen.
