@MirCat; sadly that's oh-so-true!
Most recently Scott Morrison's government worked overtime to prevent Australians from learning about alleged war crimes committed by Australian SAS troops in Afghanistan - apparently, "S**t [still] happens!".
Morrison's government even oversaw raids on the ABC to that end - something they rightly criticise the likes of China, North Korea and Russia of doing.
Will such matters ever be allowed to be investigated in Australian classrooms ... NOT under our current regime!
