@bacci; you have NO idea as to how far out of your depth on this one! That you would seek to exacerbate the fears and anxiety Year 12 kids are already experiencing reflects very poorly on your motives.
Fact 2: James Merlino's explanation today at Andrews' daily briefing could NOT have been clearer - except for the likes of Murdoch Mouthpieces who are Hell bent on running a campaign of lies, deceit and opinion aimed at undermining Victoria's COVID-19 management.
Fact 3: Every year students and their parents can apply for 'Special Consideration' - compensation based on disadvantage experienced such as a family death, personal illness, mental health issues, ... the success of such applications are NOT determined by schools or teachers but by specially comprised expert panels.
Fact 4: What was announced in Victoria today was Victoria's commitment to take account of the impact on each and every student of the impact of COVID-19 arising from the decision to add another six weeks of lockdown on VCE students at such a critical time of the year. In schools those staff responsible for overseeing Year 12 assist students and parents in making submissions for 'Special Consideration' but they do NOT get to deliberate on their merit.
Your concluding offensive, fearmongering, ignorant and erroneous comment is not worthy of further comment.
