40 cents out of every dollar a chinaman earns he spend on food, for Indians it is 70 cents.
China currently 1.3 billion population 1.5 by 2050
India currently 1.1 billion population 1.6 by 2050

World currently 6.6 billion population 9.1 by 2050

India alone an extra 500 million mouths to feed at that ratio of 70cents per dollar, hard to see it changing significantly.
They might not make up the numbers of the burgeoning middle classes that so much of our world economy relies upon to keep the wheels turning but they all gotta eat.
