PS: If you think that this is grossly unfair, then you have my permission to cut/paste & top/tail the above post and forward it to your MP for a response and/or make representation to the Minister for Industry/Minister for Transport to remedy this regulatory rort.
This issue is within portfolios of both Ministers although the Minister for Industry should have bugger all to do with it since 2017 when Ford, GM & Toyota pulled the pin on Aus manufacturing leaving 500 odd engineesr/philosophers ( FORS) in Canberra with bugger all to do!
