Which is why I mentioned it.
The Premier/Health Minister will be relying heavily on their advisor who may still be a stem cell sceptic so have ignored it as an option.
And I would be thinking that the leaders will be desperately grateful for an option. Plus pollies are ones with little knowledge who can be influenced - esp in this extreme situation.
