Fully agree with you - NIU can't be relisted till they properly recapitalise. And that won't happen till any potential investor has secure tenure over the leases. The main asset is Mining Licence ML511; according to the official PNG registrar (legally binding) the ML expires on 5th October 2021 whereas according to NIU's recent quarterly report (3rd August 2020) the ML expires 18th May 2025. Maybe I misunderstand but if not the difference in dates is crucial and no-one will put money down till that issue at least is resolved.
There is also the issue of the PNG landowners, who must be well and truly hacked-off not while NIU's wheels are spinning for last 18...
