From another BB:
Optima Computers, The nations largest PC maker, has aquired Powerlan's Business Infrastructure Business, which provides system integration and IT infrastructure services to major corporations in NSW. This compliments their IOCOM Division which does the same for SME businesses.
But the best part of the announcement was their confirmation that they still had "resources of $4.5 million at 30 June 2002 and is currently debt free. The main business unit of the Company, Optima Computer Technology Pty Limited is producing strong cash flows and achieved revenue growth of about 40% for the 2002 financial year."
In June they stated revenue growth of about 30%, so sales of PC's can not be too shabby.
Optima will make their maden report to the ASX in a few weeks time after gaining a back door listing by being taken over by IOCOM early this year.
