While considering it an exit strategy for the shorts. Q up all those savvy shorts at $4.80+ sold the previous day [ADRS also] did they make enough profit to buy back and close out yesterday...maybe. The greed looms large and the double edged sword is the same traders that took the shorts might also be looking to go long and accumulate cheaply. If the volume spikes so much then getting the stock to return is easy...they have full control. They are in a win/win and the company is somewhat complacent in not having any ammo to counter.
A fair dinkum mgmt team would saw ok, lets punch out that CHF/CLBP readout from phase 3, or lets update the ARDS trial data/recruitment....but nope...crickets mostly...apart from a lightbulb moment of "oh yeah, we did have our own submission data to correlate to the FDA briefing. They stooc right on their d**ks I'm afraid to say. But in the end the science will win. GLTAH.
