DD - you can also build your own excel system to track all the ASX stocks you are interested in, pulling data down (20 minutes delayed) from Yahoo.
If you have a technical mind, it could be a good way to go, as you can keep the notes and research you do on stocks next to price quotes.
I think there is a yahoo newsgroup - excel traders (or similar)
