years ago when K-Mart arrived they priced goods @ $0.98c, $1.98, etc. i asked (when as a boy and worked there) why always this price. i was told it's the Jewish price where we always sell cheaper than our competitors. LOL

now at the cash register, when it's a young person wet behind the ears. i'd ask for my change of one cent. boy didn't i get a funny look.

i tried that on an older women and she said there you go and pointed to the 1 cent which was glued to the counter.
i was ROTFLMAO and out the door.
